As a clinic administrator, you have the option to customize the questions that appear for patients when checking in with Banty Virtual Clinic. By reducing the amount of information requested from patients during virtual visits, you can make the process faster and more user-friendly for your patients.

Default check-in questions

The default check-in process for patients when accessing your Clinic URL includes two pages of information.

Page 1

Page 1 requests the patient's name, date of birth, and phone number. These fields cannot be removed. The phone number field is shown to clinic staff, which allows them to have an alternative method of contact handy before and during a virtual visit.

Page 2

Page 2 requests the patient's health card number, expiry date, and reason for visit. This page of the check-in screen that can be disabled if the information is not required by your clinic.

How to hide the second page

Please note that this setting can only be modified by clinic admin users. You can hide the second page of questions by following these simple steps:

  1. Click the user profile drop-down in the top right corner of the Banty Virtual Clinic interface.

  2. Click on "Settings" from the drop-down menu.

  3. Click on "Clinic Info" from the left-hand menu.

  4. Toggle "Skip collecting visit information during check-in" and click "Save changes".

By reducing the amount of information requested during the check-in process, you can make the process faster and more user-friendly for your patients.

We hope you find this new feature helpful in simplifying the check-in process for your patients. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team for assistance.
